2025 Winter Semester Completion Ceremony

The Korean Language Institute under the Office of International Affairs and External Relations at Incheon National University announced that it held the completion ceremony for the 2025 Winter Semester Korean Language Training Program at the Northeast Asia E-biz Center on the 13th.

Approximately 150 people attended the ceremony, including the Vice President for International Affairs and External Relations, the Director of the Korean Language Institute, staff from the International Support Office, Korean language instructors, and trainees enrolled in the Korean language program, to celebrate the trainees’ academic achievements.

During the ceremony, completion certificates were awarded to the trainees. In addition, Perfect Attendance Awards were presented to students who diligently participated in the program, while students with outstanding academic performance received Academic Excellence Awards, along with certificates and prizes.

A commemorative video featuring scenes from winter semester classes and cultural experience activities was also shown during the event, offering an opportunity to reflect on the trainees’ efforts and growth throughout the semester. Following the screening, trainees performed a K-POP congratulatory performance and delivered short speeches in Korean reflecting on their experiences. Through these activities, students confidently showcased the Korean language skills they had developed while sharing and celebrating each other’s cultures.

Hong Jin-bae, Vice President for International Affairs and External Relations at Incheon National University, said in his congratulatory remarks, “I sincerely congratulate you on the dedicated efforts and valuable achievements you have demonstrated through your Korean language studies.” He added, “I hope to see many of you again at Incheon National University in the near future, learning and growing together on the same campus.”

The Korean Language Institute at Incheon National University continues to strengthen its role as a globally competitive educational institution by providing systematic Korean language education programs and diverse cultural experience activities for international trainees.
