Incheon National University February 2026 Commencement Ceremony

- 1,785 Bachelor’s, 334 Master’s, and 37 Doctoral Degrees Awarded

Incheon National University (President: In-jae Lee) held the February 2026 Commencement Ceremony at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 20, at the Main Auditorium of the Songdo Campus.

At the ceremony, a total of 2,156 students received degrees, including 1,785 bachelor’s degrees, 334 master’s degrees, and 37 doctoral degrees. Approximately 2,500 attendees, including Hak-jun Kim, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Incheon National University; Hae-yong Seo, President of the INU Alumni Association; distinguished guests; graduates; and their families, gathered to celebrate the graduates’ achievements and future endeavors.

Following the academic report delivered by Young-soo Lee, Vice President for Student and Career Affairs, congratulatory messages were delivered via video by Yoo Jeong-bok, Mayor of Incheon Metropolitan City, as well as by National Assembly members Kyo-heung Kim, Chan-dae Park, and Hun-gi Lee. Additional congratulatory remarks were given by Hae-yong Seo, President of the INU Alumni Association, and Sang-hyuk Park, a professor at Incheon National University and alumnus from the Class of 1995.

In his commencement address, President In-jae Lee encouraged graduates to grow into professionals who do not fear challenges and into leaders who care about the community. He also expressed deep gratitude to parents, faculty members, and alumni who have supported the students throughout their journey.

He added, “Whatever position you take and whatever role you assume, I hope you will never lose your spirit of learning, the courage to take on challenges, and a warm heart toward others.” He further encouraged graduates to become individuals who bring honor to Incheon National University and contribute meaningfully to society.
